| From lunacy to recklessness... Village Of Cascade voted in 77' setbacks |
| This action directly ignores all safety requirements stipulated by turbine manufacturers |
| Town of Lyndon in discussions with Half Moon Energy to put up the large industrial turbines. Residents are uninformed. TOL claims that at 10,000.00 USD per year this is the only way farmers can make a living. At the expense of the rest of us? Half Moon documents directly state they will pay off neighbors of these landowners in order to get turbines installed. TOL chair has articulated concerns about a lawsuit from Half Moon, yet was elected to keep the PUBLIC safe. We urge TOL to say no to small and big wind and urge the residents to understand what is happening in their backyards and the unintended (yet known) consequences. |
| Neighbors of Village of Cascade WWTP have complained endlessly about the turbine noise (they were told they would never hear), flicker and blade glint. Board members brush off these complaints and suggest people learn to live with it, yet none of them live anywhere near the turbines and do not suffer with the sound of the locomotive that never arrives. |

| The board is in a huge rush to push this project through and claims all our research is around the huge, industrial turbines.
That is absolutely untrue. Why would we spend time and money on something that is not relevant to our situation? |
| They voted to go forward with wind turbines in spite of much public opposition AND put up a second turbine that they did not get grant money for. |
